September 16 Redesign Release Notes

The new official redesign of SendItHome, SendItHome Slate, was released today, September 16, 2010. As such, we've got several things that we want to detail as having changed.

The goal of this new release was to simplify everything while still maintaining our main structure. We wanted to move away from the perception that SendItHome was a huge ordeal. While we take a lot of pride in it, it's just a simple click for most users. (99% of you won't even read this. ;D) So, we're simplifying everything.

Slate solves a number of problems, including the fact that it could take up to ten minutes for an e-mail to be sent, and also introduces some new features, such as support for user accounts (which will be turned on later this year).

We've also added in a new "Feedback" box that will let us get a more detailed view of users' opinions.
